On December 16th?
Current rate of donation pledges suggests an $8 million
haul may be possible

Ron Paul broke the record for online funds raised in one day on
November 5th, pulling in $4.3 million via the unaffiliated "money
bomb" donation drive. Current donation rates for the "Ron
Paul Tea Party" donation day on the 16th of December suggest
he will once again break that record and may even be able to double
it.
Jim O'Donnell over at Libertarian website Nolan
Chart points out that the total pledges to donate
$100 or more for November 5th numbered about 17,500 but the actual
number of contributions were much greater and raised $4.3 million.
The total number of pledges to www.teaparty07.com
is currently at over 25,000 with eleven days still to
go. If the rate of pledges is consistent for the remaining time,
that figure could increase to around 33,000 by the 16th.
Given that last time 17,500 pledges equated to 4.3 million, 33,000
pledges could equate to just under double that amount, meaning
an unprecedented $8 million super haul is definitely on the cards.

Should a figure somewhere in that region be achieved Ron Paul
would have earned a whopping $18 million for the quarter, by far
eclipsing the campaign target of $12 million and blowing his GOP
rivals out of the water.
The Congressman is already the top GOP earner this quarter, having
topped $10 million, doubling his own third quarter earnings.
