In an article released Monday by the London Independent, "it's official: the heavier rainfall in Britain is being caused by climate change, a major new scientific study will reveal this week, as the country reels from summer downpours of unprecedented ferocity."

The article goes on to state that "more intense rainstorms across parts of the northern hemisphere are being generated by man-made global warming, the study has established for the first time ­ an effect which has long been predicted but never before proved."

The study was conducted by the Hadley Centre of the UK Met Office.

According to the Met Office's official website, in 1991, the office installed a Cray Y-MP Supercomputer for the purpose of "climate and weather prediction". This is interesting to note because, according to several sources, including an article on Gizmodo.com, a couple living in Silicon Valley, CA has turned one into "baby furniture", citing it is a "lost glory". One could conclude that this "supercomputer", used to help predict climate change within the walls of the Met Office, is being used for nothing more than junk science.

In fact, according the Met Office's website, no replacement for this supercomputer has been installed.

It is also interesting to note that, according to the Met Office's website, in 1990, it became " an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Defence".

Global warming has, indeed become a heated and highly debated topic throughout the world. Many governments, including the United States and the UK, are beginning to side with scientists who claim that global warming is entirely man-made, caused by increased CO2 levels. However, according to an article from the U.S Senate Committee's Environment and Public Works website, " many former believers in catastrophic man-made global warming have recently reversed themselves and are now climate skeptics." The names include prominent scientists such as Geophysicist Dr. Claude Allegre, a top geophysicist and French Socialist who has authored more than 100 scientific articles, Astrophysicist Dr. Nir Shaviv,one of Israel's top young award winning scientists, Mathematician & engineer Dr. David Evans, who did carbon accounting for the Australian Government, along with numerous others.

Further, many of these scientists are now being ousted by mainstream science, due to their non-compliance with the Global Warming agenda, according to an article by Paul Joseph Watson of PrisonPlanet.com.

Along with other agendas, the main reason for governments worldwide to back Global Warming so heavily is so that a "Global Carbon Tax" can be levied upon the population of the Earth. According to another article by Paul Joseph Watson of PrisonPlanet.com, "the New York Times ran an editorial calling on the government to impose a carbon tax on humans for the air we breathe!"

The London Independent article portrays this theory for increased rainfall as fact. " Global warming is likely to lead to higher rainfall because a warming atmosphere contains more water vapor and more energy. Since climate prediction began 20 years ago, heavier rainfall over Britain has been a consistent theme.", it states.

They have apparently reached this conclusion through the use of yet more baseless, "junk" science.
